Ralph Joseph Tucy
1926 - 1947

Ralph was born on August 25, 1926. He was a student at Bourne High School at the time of his death.
Ralph was a quiet man and a hard worker. His father and his uncle, Clayson Tucy, owned Tucy's Florist in Buzzards Bay and Ralph delivered the flowers. His father was a real task master and Ralph's friend, John Harris, remembers that he was late picking up his date for the Junior Prom because his father insisted he finish delivering flowers.
Ralph left high school before he graduated to serve our country in World War II. After his time in the service, he returned to Bourne High School to get his diploma. Unfortunately, Ralph developed a fatal kidney disease and he never graduated.
Ralph is remembered by his family as a good kid who was well liked
by his many friends and family members. He liked to swim in Bumps Pond in Buzzards
Bay and he also liked to draw. Ralph especially enjoyed his Model A Ford. Ralph
and John Harris used to race their Model A's together.
