"Our Sister"
"On March 6, 1977, our family was changed forever. Our sister, Megan, was born and in our eyes she was just so very special. As the years went by, we knew that this little girl was a gift from Heaven.
Even though she had a lot of problems, she still found it in her
heart to show us that all of the love, caring, and understanding we felt for
her, she gave right back to us in so many forms. Because she was unable to speak,
she was able to teach us that to show someone that you
love them, you do not need to be able to speak with words because sometimes
actions speak bigger than words.
When Megan was born, we thought our lives had changed forever. But on April 24, 1993, when Megan passed on, we realized that the change she had made in us had been so great and so special. "We are all better people for having loved and been loved by such a special person."
