Keith "K.C." Rees, Jr.

1988-2006

Keith "K.C." Rees, Jr.

Keith was born on November 22, 1988. He died in an accident on September 12, 2006, just as he had begun his senior year at Bourne High School. Keith had spent the previous four years in Seaside, Oregon, where he played soccer, wrestled, and was a member of the high school band and jazz band. He then joined the Bourne High School band where he played the baritone sax. Keith loved playing and listening to music, especially jazz, and was never shy when it came time to stand up and take a solo. Beside the saxophone, he also learned to play the guitar.

Keith was an avid Red Sox fan who was never without his Red Sox hat. He was disappointed to leave Seaside and all the friends he had made, but was already making new friends in Bourne. Because of his dad's career in the Coast Guard, he had been moving his whole life and never had trouble adapting to his new home and school. He was one of those people who could talk to anyone.

Keith will be remembered most for his sense of humor. He was loved very much and is missed every day by his parents, brother Kyle, grandparents, aunts, uncle and cousins.
