Jane Viola Pratt

Jane was born on January 17, 1949. She was a student at Bourne High School at the time of her death.
Playing tennis, swimming and boating were some things Jane enjoyed. She was a member of the Future Teachers Association and Code Club in high school. She was also a fan of the Beatles musical group.
Jane was a happy-go-lucky girl and she loved everything and everybody. She was in a car accident on March 6,1965, on Wings Neck Road in Pocasset. She had just come back from taking pre-college exams. Her sister, Patricia, was 8 months pregnant. On April 11, 1965, her sister had a daughter and named her “Jane”. The loss of Jane Viola was a terrible loss for the whole family.
