The Memorial Garden
The Bourne Student Memorial Garden was constructed by the Town of Bourne, Massachusetts to honor the memory of children who passed away while still school age. Inclusion in the Garden is the choice of the family. Great effort has been made to contact the families that could be identified. Additional students are added to the Memorial Garden on the family's request.
This website attempts to provide an on-line version of the Memorial Garden Memory Book. The Memory Book includes photos of constructing the Memorial Garden as well as photos and stories of the children and teens who are commemorated there. The stories and photos have been shared by the families. There are copies of this book at Bourne High School, Bourne Middle School and the Jonathan Bourne Public library.
